Mustad's Slow Pitch Double Jigging Assist rig is designed for fast swimming fish or bottom feeders. The two assist hooks are connected to the top end of the slim jigging lure to improve hookset as fish often strike the top end of the lure. The absence of a traditional trail treble hook also means less snags. The slow pitch technique has proven great on slow days when fish are not as active and is less of a strain on the arms as speed jigging.
